Zarar Rana is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of founding and building software and technology companies. He has over 30 years of experience in the enterprise software and telecom space, ranging from strategic planning and product development to leading and building global ventures.
Prior to Kloudville, he founded ZCOM Systems Inc. a global 100 plus-person consulting company, specializing in system integration and implementing Ericsson’s Order and Catalogue Management Software (Concept Wave) for telecom carriers.
Prior to founding ZCOM Systems, he was Co-founder and CEO of Concept Wave (Acquired by Ericsson in 2012). He built a global company, delivering world class Order and Catalogue Management Software products and solutions to many of the largest telecom companies.
Previously, he was the Co-founder and President of Objectel (Merged with Architel); where he developed network inventory products and delivered software development services to telecom providers. Several years later Architel was sold to Nortel Networks.
In addition, he led several senior leadership roles at Telecom companies, including AT&T and Nortel Networks.
David brings over 20 years experience leading, contributing to, and growing engineering organizations in top technology companies. David founded Kloudville in early 2013.
Prior to Kloudville, David was the Chief Architect for Conceptwave (Acquired by Ericsson), where he designed and led an engineering to build a world class Order and Catalog management software for global carriers.
Previously, he was a senior architect at Nortel and Architel. David holds a Software Engineering degree from Technion University.
His extensive experience in designing, building and implementing complex systems has been significant in the success of Kloudville’s products.
Robert brings with him over 25 years of experience in Product Management, Research & Development and Professional Services. With a global focus, he has translated the needs of clients on all continents—including industry and local requirements—into tailored software solutions.
Prior to joining Kloudville, Robert was Head of Product Line at Ericsson, VP, Customer Solutions and Product Management at ConceptWave Software, Developer and Enterprise Architect at Allstream.
He has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor’s in Math and Computer Science from University of Waterloo.
Mahmud brings to Kloudville an established and well-reputed international track record in business development, sales and executive management within the large Business/Enterprise community.
He has held senior executive positions at BT, Dimension Data, LogicaCMG, Astracon, Net Insight, ConceptWave and most recently Ericsson. He is proficient at acquiring large-scale product based deployment projects both directly and in-directly through partners and has established a portfolio of accounts on an international scale. He has led and developed sales teams across the globe and managed multi-million dollar pipelines.
His aptitude, commercial insight and hands-on experience while working with the Enterprise customers, world-wide has allowed him to build an empathetic and deep relationship with his target customers. An asset that Klodville is leveraging as it scales its business internationally.
Pooya Tavakoly is Kloudville’s Head of Product Management where he is responsible for the development of Kloudville’s product strategy and leading the product design, UI/UX, documentation and QA teams.
He has 14+ years of diversified experience at the intersection of business, analytics, and technology. He has served as a lecturer at the University of Lugano, a visiting scholar at Wharton School and is an alumni of the University of Oxford. Pooya has received various prestigious scholarships and research grants from institutions such as the Swiss National Science Foundation and the British Council.
Over the course of his academic career, Pooya has employed state-of-the-art quantitative and analytical methods to study various contemporary business challenges such as the IPO success, financial crisis and industry consolidation. He has presented his work at 15+ highly reputable international business conferences and has been invited to present his work at multiple universities across Europe.
Prior to joining Kloudville, Pooya was a co-founder and the CEO of 0&1 Information Technology Co., which he grew to 40+ employees in two years after founding.
Imran is an entrepreneur and a visionary with a demonstrated track record of business successes and leadership. His professional career spans over 30 years.
Imran is currently General Partner in Extreme Venture Partner. Prior to EVP Imran was CEO of Jugnoo Inc. Prior to Jugnoo Imran was the founder and CEO of Envision Mobile. Prior to Envision, he was founder and COO of Octanewave Software. Octanewave specialized in Mobile Application Platform. Under Imran’s leadership, Octanewave Software grew to 50 employees and was sold to Dexterra Inc in 2006. Prior to Octanewave, Imran founded ISG in 1994. ISG focused in Internet infrastructure. Imran grew the company to 60 people and sold it to USWEB in 1999. During the last 30 years Imran has held executive positions at Extreme, Envision, Dexterra, Octanewave, excendis, marchFIRST (formerly USWeb/CKS), ISG and AT&T Canada.
Imran holds a Masters of Engineering degree in Computer Communications from the University of Toronto.
Karna is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years experience in the ICT sector. Currently he is President and CEO of ITAC. Prior to joining ITAC, he was CEO of Certicom Corp. Currently he serves on several boards; Chairman of the Board of Directors at VentureLab, board member of VOTI.
Prior to joining ITAC he served as CEO of Certicom, prior to Certicom he was the President of the Billing Division, he also held the Chief Marketing Officer role Comverse. Prior to Comverse he was the President of Sitraka Mobility, and has held a VP of Product Development for 20 years at Bell Canada.
M. Eng, MBA, P. Eng
Jean has more than 25 years of business experience with a strong and tested background in business transformation, market making, operations and sales.
Prior to joining Kloudville, Jean was the Regional Managing Director for Central Government Services for the UK and Ireland. Central Government Services is a £370M business, which manages and mobilizes key fundamental governments outsourcing contracts for the UK and Ireland.
Jean Pierre is no stranger to executive management, having spent several years as President and CEO of G4S Canada taking the business from less than $160M to over $520M in less than three years through organic growth and a sales strategy.
Prior to G4S, Jean Pierre has had several senior executive roles at Bell Canada, including President and CEO of Bell Connexim Outsourcing/Managed Services, as well as other executive positions at AT&T and Motorola.
He is an international, bilingual senior executive and holds a Masters Degree in Engineering, as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto.
